An exciting collaboration between the City and area colleges bore fruit on Feb. 21, 2020 as "CoLab" met for a daylong brainstorming and work session. See photos above of the participants, who came from Cal State Monterey Bay and the Middlebury Institute of International Studies to join City staff, consultants, and representatives of the Gonzales Youth Council.

In addition to working together at the Police Department conference room, City Council chambers, and City Hall, the group toured many of our towns assets, including Taylor Farms, BioSwells, Constellation Wines, housing, the Vosti Center, our schools, the Community Slough, Centennial Park, the pool, the Johnson Canyon Easement, the Taylor Wellness Clinic, and downtown — whew!

It all plays a role in helping us — the City, schools, residents, businesses, and community groups — plan a healthy, prosperous, green future together, the Gonzales Way.
